INTRODUCTION TO S-FRAME ANALYSIS

MODELING,  LINEAR ANALYSIS AND  POST PROCESSING (G101)

Online Training Registration

This introductory course is geared towards engineers new to S-FRAME Analysis and structural analysis and design. We demonstrate how to use S-FRAME’s GUI and Tools to create simple structures, apply load cases and load combinations, and run a linear static analysis on your newly created structure. You will learn the fundamental conventions used to interpret your analysis results and the different techniques that can be used to view results. Attendees are also introduced to S-VIEW, and shown the tools available for model validation and sharing in a dynamic model-viewing environment.

About Introduction to S-FRAME Analysis (G101)

Benefits

By the end of this class you will have developed the skills necessary to use S-FRAME R11. You will know how to define and edit a structure’s geometry from scratch, complete a linear static analysis to observe the structure's behavior under loading, then view and interpret the analysis results. This class is the fastest way to get up and running with S-FRAME R11.

Format

Training is delivered in two live 2-hour lectures over a period of 3 days

Class includes graded Assignments and Final exam (you will receive a score report for your records)

A Certificate of mastery will be provided to attendees that achieve a final score above 75% and Educational Units will go towards an S-FRAME certification

Elligible for PDH (Professional Development Credits) for attendance

Who Should Attend

Any Structural or Civil Engineer looking to improve the efficiency and accuracy of their Structural Analysis skills using S-FRAME. This course does not require any prior experience with S-FRAME, and is a great way for a new or prospective user to get up and running as quickly as possible
