Advanced S-FRAME Analysis (G103) builds on the fundamentals presented in Introduction to S-FRAME Analysis Part I, to cover additional advanced features and topics. We will explain complex geometry modeling, 2D analysis objects and S-FRAME's powerful meshing tools. You will apply moving loads, and learn how and when to run different advanced analyses such as P-Delta, Non-Linear, and Vibration Analysis. This course also demonstrates how to use built in BIM links to transfer model data between S-FRAME and Revit™, Tekla™ or DXF files.

Benefits

By the end of this class, you will have learned how to create more geometrically complex models and how to import and export modeling data using the BIM and CAD links. You will become more familiar with running and interpreting the results from different advanced analysis, including P-Delta, Non-Linear and Vibration analysis, as well as how to generate detailed reports.

The course is delivered in two live 2-hour lectures over a period of 3 days

Includes graded Assignments and Final exam (you will receive a score report for your records)

Certificate of mastery will be provided to attendees that achieve a final score above 75% and Educational Units will go towards an S-FRAME certification

Who Should Attend

Any Structural or Civil Engineer looking to improve the efficiency and accuracy of their Structural Analysis skills using S-FRAME. This course assumes basic familiarity with the S-FRAME Analysis interface.

Class registrants should have a technical education and background in civil or structural engineering

Advanced S-FRAME Analysis (G103) is intended for the user who has some prior experience with basic S-FRAME Analysis program functionality and is familiar with the topics covered in G101 – Intro to S-FRAME Analysis Part I.
